About me
I am a passionate and experienced integrative counselling lecturer and psychotherapist offering short and long term therapy, in-person and online. I work with individuals, couples and groups.
I am a member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and the lead lecturer at Northbrook College for the counselling courses.
My primary role as a therapist is to establish the therapeutic relationship to ensure we can create the environment to effectively work together. The initial session will be free of charge to ensure this can be done, and if we decide that it is not the right fit, then I will happily put you in touch with someone who may be more suitable for your needs.
I offer a confidential, and supportive environment to explore your feelings, thoughts, fears, and concerns? My psychotherapy service offers a non-judgmental space where you can freely express yourself and gain clarity on what troubles you. Together, we will work to enhance your self-awareness and resilience, guiding you towards a healthy and positive outcome. Whether you're dealing with personal challenges, emotional struggles, or simply seeking to better understand yourself, I am here to support you every step of the way.
My Approach
I have an integrative approach, this enables me to draw upon a range of modalities and techniques, including Person centred, Psychodynamic, Existential and Mindfulness. I tailor my therapy to meet my individual client's needs and I use these approaches to help my clients explore themselves at great depth.
I specialise with PTSD, existential crisis, long-term-health conditions, and struggles with identity and connection to oneself and others. Working with depth psychology and investigating the unconscious mind to alleviate trauma and heal deeper wounds to create a great self-awareness that is understanding of the triggers from our past is my passion. Having spent many years in the armed forces, to now work with PTSD is something truly close to my heart, and helping others overcome such adversity to regain control over their autonomy and their life is a key area of my work.
