About me
I am a psychotherapist, Counselling lecturer, psychoeducator and disabled veteran dedicated to helping individuals grow through adversity, unlock their potential, and create meaningful lives. With a deeply integrative approach rooted in counselling, depth psychology and philosophy, I work from an integrative approach, applying a number of proffessional modalities including a unique motivational framework for navigating life’s challenges, empowering others through adversity. Using my qualifications within psychotherapy and trauma focused counselling, I have built a framework called Adversity-Driven Growth.
With over a decade of experience in working with trauma, emotional growth, and self-discovery, I blend psychotherapeutic modalities with his profound insights into human behaviour. My work is informed, not only academically, but also by my own journey of overcoming significant life challenges, offering me an empathetic, compassionate and relatable perspective that resonates deeply with those I work with.
I deliver one-to-one therapy, group workshops, motivational talks, and public lectures designed to inspire, educate, and transform. I specialises in helping individuals cultivate resilience, develop authentic self-awareness, and navigate chaos with clarity and purpose.
Whether working with clients recovering from trauma, seeking emotional balance, or striving for self-mastery, my mission is clear: to guide people in building the architecture of Adversity-Driven Growth, fostering self-belief, and living lives aligned with truth, purpose, and connection.
I am a member of the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and the lead lecturer at Northbrook College for the counselling courses, teaching psychoeducation and psychological therapies.
My primary role as a therapist is to establish the therapeutic relationship to ensure we can create the environment to effectively work together. The initial session will be free of charge to ensure this can be done, and if we decide that it is not the right fit, then I will happily put you in touch with someone who may be more suitable for your needs.
I specialise with PTSD, existential crisis, long-term-health conditions, and struggles with identity and connection to oneself and others. Working with depth psychology and investigating the unconscious mind to alleviate trauma and heal deeper wounds to create a great self-awareness that is understanding of the triggers from our past is my passion. Having spent many years in the armed forces, to now work with PTSD is something truly close to my heart, and helping others overcome such adversity to regain control over their autonomy and their life is a key area of my work.
