Lewis Psychology is a multi award winning business and the only organisation in Wolverhampton to gain service accreditation status with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). BACP Service Accreditation demands the highest standards of practice in the counselling and psychotherapy profession and is considered by many to be the highest honour in the field.
BACP Service Accreditation helps the public and practitioners identify services providing a high standard of counselling and psychotherapy. It sets the standard to which all counselling and psychotherapy services can aspire to and demonstrates a commitment to excellence.

We are based in a prominent location on the A41 Tettenhall Road within the established office quarter of Wolverhampton. We areapproximately 1 mile north west of Wolverhampton city centre, Junction 10 of the M6 motorway is approximately 6.4 miles east and Junction 2 of the M54 motorway 4.5 miles north.
We are approximately a half a mile from Wolverhampton city centre and across the road from the Shell garage and Abbeyfield care home.
If travelling by bus then take the Tettenhall bus (number one) from Wolverhampton bus station, which leaves every 5 minutes during the day and stops directly outside Abbeyfield care home. Lewis Psychology is directly across the road.
There is a free onsite carpark at the front and rear of the building.

There are disabled car parking bays and an access ramp at the rear of the building. Our offices are located on the ground floor.

Teresa Lewis is a Senior Accredited therapist with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP Snr. Accred). Qualified in 1995 Teresa has completed over 15,000 therapy sessions and has successfully dealt with a wide range of issues from anger management to health anxiety. Teresa holds a Masters degree in counselling and psychotherapy and is a qualified EMDR Practitioner having completed training accredited with EMDR Europe. As a recognised expert in her field Teresa is frequently asked to conduct editorial reviews and endorse counselling and psychotherapy books for international publishing houses.
Teresa is a qualified adult educator and has lectured extensively in the fields of counselling, psychotherapy and mindfulness. She is an accredited Mindfulness teacher and meets the requirements of the Good Practice Guidance for Teaching Mindfulness-Based Courses, which is published by the UK Network of Mindfulness Teacher Training Organisations.

Paul is an Accredited Clinical Hypnotherapist with The National Hypnotherapy Society (MHS Acc) and has been awarded Advanced Practitioner (ADPR) status by the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR). As Wolverhampton's only GHR validated Advanced Hypnotherapy Practitioner, Paul has a substantial breadth and depth of knowledge in many areas of psychotherapy and hypnosis including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Counselling and Neuro Linguistic programming (NLP).
Paul is also a certified coach having gained full registration status with the respected Association for Coaching (MAC). Paul has built a reputation as an innovative and creative practitioner working across a broad range of areas. He holds professional qualifications in hypnotherapy in addition to qualifications in NLP, coaching, smoking cessation and counselling. He is a dynamic practitioner and his style is authentic and engaging, with a passion that both motivates and inspires. Paul enables people to understand and action the key factors in achieving and sustaining measurable growth and change. His solution focussed approach to change is informed by the latest neuroscientific research and evidence based psychology.

Prianca is registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She has a degree in psychology and a BACP accredited masters degree in counselling. She is currently completing her doctorate in counselling psychology and is registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and BACP. Prianca has worked within different professional settings, including community projects, charities, private practice and schools, providing both brief and long term therapeutic interventions.
Taran is registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and is is currently completing her doctorate dissertation in counselling psychology. Taran has worked with clients across the lifespan, with a broad spectrum of emotional and interpersonal difficulties. Taran’s professional experience in the National Health Service (NHS), The Priory and sector third sector organisations has given her diverse proficiency to address a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, anger, eating disorders, sexual abuse, domestic violence and much more.
Rachael has been providing both individual and couple counselling since 2008. She has a degree in psychology, a post graduate diploma in psychology and a BACP accredited masters degree in psychotherapeutic counselling. Rachael is registered with both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the British Psychological Society (BPS).
Prior to working at Lewis Psychology Rachael has worked within the Psychological Therapy Service in the NHS where she delivered high intensity interventions to clients with complex mental health needs. Rachael’s professional experience has given her diverse proficiency to address a broad spectrum of emotional and interpersonal difficulties such as anxiety disorders, depression, stress, bereavement, trauma, sexual and emotional abuse, issues of identity, anger, and interpersonal issues.
Rachael works collaboratively and interactively whilst providing a confidential, neutral and safe space for each client. As each person experiences life and specific situations in a different way Rachael will adapt her way of working to suit your needs. Rachael is informed by humanistic, systemic, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). She has particular interest in third wave cognitive behavioural approaches such as compassion focussed therapy (CFT).
