About me

I am an NCS accredited, insured Psychotherapist offering one to one counselling for individual adults.  I work in a person-centred way,  always putting you and your best interests at the core of the sessions,  alongside a humanistic and pluralistic approach to suit you.

I am currently working face to face, and also online via Zoom. Telephone sessions are also available. Each session lasts for one hour.

Life can be hard and a space and time for you free of judgement, centred around you and your reality can be extremely liberating and beneficial. I believe in people and their potential for fullfilling and living the life that they want, free of judgement in a supportive and empathic environment. The space in our sessions is for you and I hold that for you to be able to explore, question and healthily challenge your emotional being. This is led by you and I walk alongside you on your journey, for as long as it may continue. I work in a medium to long term way and there is no set 'end' to the sessions.

I am experienced in dealing with a wide range of issues and can help with many issues including but not limited to: anxiety, grief, depression, neurodivergent, narcissism,  confidence, bereavement, exam stress, self esteem, stress, trauma, identity, relationship issues. I also have an interest in working with LGBTQIA issues.

We work together on your aims, holding you central to all that we do through unconditional positive regard, congruency and mutual respect for each other and the therapeutic process.

Stepping in to counselling can be a difficult decision in itself but can be the first step to the life you want to lead. I hope to take that first step with you on your new journey, thank you for reading.
