About me

As a psychodynamic therapist I sit with you and we look and think about your life. We will look at your past, the relationships that formed the early part of your life. This is often revealing in understanding the parts of ourselves that we might be unaware of.

When we gain insight into our past, we can better understand our current life. I will listen carefully to your story and notice patterns that may not have been noticed. In therapy we can break cycles of behaviour by changing our perspective. I will assist you in making links between events in your life and the feelings and emotions that may be connected.

I offer therapy in a traditional private therapy room in Strathaven or by walk and talk therapy. Where we walk for 50 minutes in nature, where we can feel grounded and calmed by the environment around us.

Whether in a room or out in nature, my aim is to make whatever you are facing more manageable.
