About me

Hello, my name is Leanne and I’m a Clinical Psychologist based in Hampshire. I have over ten years of experience working within the NHS and privately working with people experiencing a range of difficulties, including (but not limited to): Trauma, Anxiety, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Stress, Low mood/depression, Self-criticism, and Relationship difficulties.

I have specialist skills in working with military populations, trauma, and using Compassion-Focused Therapy approaches.

I aim to collaboratively help people make sense of what’s going on for them, what’s keeping them stuck, and find ways to positively move forward. I tailor treatment to each person’s needs and adopt a warm, compassionate, and empathic approach to help people feel safe during the therapeutic process and supported in reaching their therapy goals. I offer both online and face-to-face appointments.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have over 10 years working in both the NHS and private sector within a range of different services spanning from children and adolescents to adults and older adults. My training and experience allow me to draw on a range of evidence-based psychological therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) approaches, and mindfulness practice. I also have specialist training in working therapeutically with Military populations and Veterans.

I hold the following qualifications:

  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (DClinPsy)
  • Masters (MSc) in Clinical Mental Health Sciences
  • Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc Hons) in Psychology
