About me

Imagine everything that’s going on for you right now, that’s brought you here. Imagine yourself a year from now, if nothing changes. And then five years from now. What do you feel?

Now imagine experiencing 50-minutes or so each week that are transformative, each time leaving with hope, with new understanding. Imagine that, sometime in the not-so-distant future, you leave counselling a changed person – whatever that might mean for you.

Now what do you feel?

I want to help, and almost always can help, because I’ve experienced life’s difficulties as well as its beauty. Chances are I’ve experienced something like what you’re feeling right now. I know that pain.

I can get to the root of the issue quickly and determine the way forward. It’ll be hard, but you can be assured of my dedication and determination in understanding and supporting you to change. Because if we’re going to beat this together, we need to really connect.

I offer in-person counselling from a quiet, relaxing, and easy to reach therapy centre in Harborne, or online sessions if you’d prefer the convenience of counselling from your own home. If you’d like to know more, I’m just an email, phone call or text away.

I offer a free introductory call to begin with (click “Book intro call” if you’d like to book a call from me via this website), and then a reduced cost first session. These are to help you ensure that I’m the right counsellor for you.

Feel free to get in touch today. I look forward to hearing from you.

My experience

Alongside my private practice, I work for an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) provider, offering short-term counselling for clients referred via their employer. Previously, I worked with a charity providing low-cost counselling for adults, and within a university student support service.

I've worked with people with a wide range of issues, including: anger; anxiety; bereavement; bullying; depression; eating disorders; family problems; identity issues; interpersonal problems; low-confidence/low-self-esteem; major life decisions and changes; OCD; relationship problems and endings; sexuality; social anxiety; trauma and workplace difficulties.

If you're interested in working with me but not sure if I can help you, please get in touch.
