About me

Giving you the confidence to be unapologetically you!

Are you tired of being your own worst enemy and feeling stuck because your confidence and self-esteem keeps holding you back?  Self-care doesn’t always come so easily, so invite yourself to identify and ask for what you need, navigate tricky situations, and give yourself permission to reframe your life.

My approach to therapy is all about helping you to break free and boost your confidence with a simple shift in your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.

When you choose me as your therapist, you’re not being forced into a stuffy, windlow-less therapy room. You’re deciding to finally make a positive change in your life, with a modern and approachable therapist to guide you.

How does it work?

The first step is booking a 20-minute free connection call, where we’ll get to know each other and check I’m the right therapist for you. When you arrange your first session, I learn your personal situation in more detail and then tailor the approach to what you need the most.

We work together to navigate your goals for therapy, breaking it down into small and achievable steps. We create a plan of how to become unapologetically you, so you feel excited to step into your newfound confidence.

Get the accountability to create your toolkit so you can look after yourself - even when those unexpected, tricky things pop up in everyday life.

Registered / Accredited

Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).

Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.

Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.

All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
