I am a warm, engaged, and empathic therapist who believes in the healing power of a safe and trusting relationship. My approach is primarily person-centred, but I integrate other therapeutic modalities to tailor the work to each client’s unique needs. I am not a passive listener—I bring my full presence to sessions, offering both deep support and meaningful challenge where helpful.
As a trauma-informed and relational therapist, I recognise the impact of past experiences on present difficulties. I work sensitively with trauma, creating a space where you feel safe, regulated, and in control of your healing process. My relational approach means that I see therapy as a dynamic, collaborative process—we will explore not just what has happened in your life, but also how it has shaped the way you relate to yourself and others. I believe that healing happens through relationships, and I aim to offer a deeply attuned, authentic, and compassionate presence in our work together.
I am passionate about helping clients explore their inner world in a way that is both safe and transformative. Whether you are seeking a safe space for vulnerability and grieving, or a more dynamic environment for encouragement and growth, I aim to meet you where you are and provide a relationship that meets these needs.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a master's degree in person-centred counselling and psychotherapy and was awarded a distinction for both my degree and my research in this field. With over 1000 hours of client experience, I work with a range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, overwhelm, relationship challenges, abuse, loss, stress, and vague feelings of stuckness. I have worked with a diverse range of clients and bring an open, non-judgmental approach to therapy. I have also previously worked as a suicide prevention therapist.
As a registered member of the BACP, I adhere to a robust ethical framework and engage in regular training and supervision to ensure I continue to offer the best possible support to my clients.
Member organisations

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.

Further information
I work with adults and trainee counsellors, offering both short-term and long-term therapy. Sessions are available in-person and online, depending on your preference and needs.
My approach is flexible and responsive. While rooted in person-centred therapy, I incorporate insights from other modalities to ensure our work remains relevant and effective. I believe in intentionality and regularly review our progress together, making sure therapy continues to feel helpful and contained.
I can support clients through a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship difficulties, loss, abuse, and suicidal thoughts. I also work with those who feel stuck or disconnected but may not yet have the words to describe why. Whatever you bring to therapy, I offer a compassionate and engaged space where we can explore your experiences together.
Our first session is an opportunity to explore what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. We will discuss how we can work together in a way that feels most effective and supportive for you. Therapy is open-ended, but I review our work every six sessions to ensure it continues to feel valuable.
I understand that beginning therapy can feel daunting, so I focus on creating a space where you feel truly seen and heard. I bring my full self to our sessions—meeting you as a fellow human, not just as a therapist.
