About me
Meet conveniently online from your work or home to improve your wellbeing and mental health. Sessions are online, available UK-wide. Intensive therapy available with flexible options for appointment times.
How I can help
I'm a Clinical Psychologist specialising in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), with over 15 years' experience and a focus on single-incident trauma (e.g. road traffic collisions, assaults, workplace accidents, and specific phobias). I also work with anxiety and depression more broadly, including anxiety connected to a difficult experience.
I also have a particular interest in water-related trauma and phobias, including for scuba divers and open-water swimmers.
For a single distressing event or a specific phobia, I offer intensive EMDR: rather than weeks or months of weekly sessions, we work through it together over a few concentrated hours across a short period.
What to expect
In our first session or two, we'll talk through what's brought you here. I'll bring together your experience with my clinical knowledge to build a shared understanding of what's going on, then suggest a plan, whether that's regular weekly sessions or an intensive format, and answer any questions you have before we start.
I've worked remotely since 2019, and genuinely believe in online therapy as an effective, convenient way to access therapy. I also offer the option for flexible appointments, with more than one per week if you are keen to progress quickly. If appropriate for you, I will give you a booking link and you can plan out your appointments conveniently.
The landline listed on this profile is voicemail only. For a quicker response, email me, or text/WhatsApp 07443 150368 I'll send you a booking link for a complimentary 15-minute video call. You can also book directly via my website.

The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.

Further information
Since 2019 I have specialised in remote / online approaches, and had already decided to work this way prior to the pandemic. I believe in this mode of therapy, and undertake professional activities to improve my knowledge and experience of online practice.
This way of accessing therapy has some significant advantages and there is research that demonstrates it's effectiveness. Some people find online / remote therapy more acceptable & effective.
