About me

Meet conveniently online from your work or home to improve your wellbeing and mental health.  Please note that sessions are online, available UK-wide. Intensive therapy available.

I offer psychological services for anxiety, depression and trauma. With more than 15 years of experience and working in remote therapy since 2019, I also specialise in EMDR (Eye-Movement Desensitisation and Re-processing). EMDR is effective in overcoming trauma, anxiety, depression & various limiting beliefs/mental blocks. In the case of single event trauma (e.g. RTA, drowning, diving incident) or phobia, I offer the option of "intensive" therapy. This means, rather than weeks or months of therapy, addressing your issue for several hours in the course of a few days.

During our first session or two we will talk to understand what is going on for you: bringing together your experience with my knowledge to develop an explanation that makes sense.  I will then suggest a plan for therapy or coaching and discuss any concerns or questions you have. If suitable for you, I offer intensive EMDR therapy, condensing the treatment into a few days.

The phone number listed on the profile is voicemail only.  I'd recommend emailing and I will send you a booking link for a complimentary 15-minute videocall.  You can also book a videocall direct on my website.

Further information

Since 2019 I have specialised in remote / online approaches, and had already decided to work this way prior to the pandemic.  I believe in this mode of therapy, and undertake professional activities to improve my knowledge and experience of online practice.

This way of accessing therapy has some significant advantages and there is research that demonstrates it's effectiveness. Some people find online / remote therapy more acceptable & effective.
