About me
Hi, my name is Laura and I’m a qualified and registered counsellor based in Brighouse, with sessions available face to face or online. I am warm, friendly and passionate about working with people. My work is person-centred, meaning you are at the heart of our sessions and my work is tailored to your needs. In our sessions I will truly listen to your experience and I want understand it is like to be in your shoes. Together we will unpick what’s going on for you and start the healing process in a way that feels natural for you.
What to expect when you come to therapy sessions with me? A safe, confidential environment where you will be heard and understood; a place you can discover your authentic self and live the life you choose. I believe our life experiences shape the people we are, and can often obstruct our true selves. By working together, I hope to help you to feel empowered, confident and able. How will we do this? We will work collaboratively to uncover hidden worries and motivations, bringing them to the surface to explore and heal them.
I understand that looking for a counsellor can bring up feelings of apprehension and overwhelm, and it can be difficult from a profile to know who will be the right fit for you. This is why I offer a free introductory phone call for an initial chat to see if you feel I am that counsellor.
Start your journey of healing and empowerment with me today by booking a call or popping me an email.
