Laura Lee | Anxiety & Stress Therapist | Ad. Dip. CP, BA (Hons) Psych
COVID-19 UPDATE: Unfortunately, I am currently unable to see clients face to face and all sessions are conducted using ZOOM or via telephone.
I specialise in working with clients facing Stress and Anxiety in their lives.
Life can be unpredictable and overwhelming. The current pandemic being a great example.
How we react to the past, present, the future, the unknown or even the known is totally individual and can often come as a surprise, even to ourselves. What may blow one person off their feet is merely a light breeze to another. Anxiety, Stress and Overwhelm affects different people in different ways. Your experience is valid and you will be taken seriously.
We all benefit from a safe space and the opportunity to be listened to. To have our thoughts vocalised and our voice our fully heard without judgement or interruption. When we have this freedom to open up, we can then begin to explore our feelings, emotions, conflicts, reactions, behaviours safely. With professional support you can change your life, you can move forwards. You can be free of unnecessary Anxiety and Stress. You can take back control and empower yourself. It may feel impossible to you right now but I assure you it is entirely possible.
Reaching out for help can be daunting. You may be anxious about getting in contact. I understand it can take a long time to get this far. You don’t need to go into detail; you can email and just ask for help. We will work through the rest together and I will guide the process. If you are looking for help for a loved one the same applies.
There are lots of different types of counsellor out there. I take an integrative approach to therapy, utilising a number of approaches to suit your individual needs including:
Person Centered Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Rational Emotive Behavioural Therapy (REBT)
My sessions will provide confidential, professional support in a safe and supportive environment.
Whilst specialising in Anxiety & Stress, I am available to clients working through other experiences and issues,
