About me
Perhaps you have reached a point where things feel harder than they should. You might be feeling overwhelmed, exhausted from trying to keep everything together, or find yourself stuck in patterns that you don't quite understand.
Maybe you feel misunderstood, dismissed, or have spent years trying to adapt. Perhaps you have tried harder, second-guessed yourself, or wondered why something that seems so manageable for other people can feel so difficult for you.
Sometimes this can show up in our relationships too. You might struggle to communicate what you need, feel overwhelmed by conflict, find boundaries difficult, or notice yourself responding in ways that don’t feel true to yourself.
Over time, experiences like these can leave us feeling anxious, overwhelmed, sad, frustrated or simply exhausted. We can lose confidence in ourselves, become caught up in self-doubt, and sometimes, it's simply difficult to explain what isn't quite right. From the outside, you may appear to be coping, while inside things feel much more complicated.
You don't need to arrive with an explanation.
I work with people from all kinds of backgrounds and for all sorts of reasons. You don't need a label, a particular explanation, or a clear idea of what's going on to come to counselling.
You might already have an understanding of yourself that has helped things make more sense. You might be questioning things about yourself that you've never quite understood or simply recognise yourself in some of these experiences without needing to put a name to them.
As a neurodivergent counsellor, I work with all neurotypes. Counselling is about being curious about your experience of yourself and the world around you, including the parts that may feel difficult to explain, easy to dismiss, or hard for other people to see or understand.
You can come as you are, and we can start from there.
