About me
Contact me if you want to let go of dysfunctional relationship patterns, irrational beliefs and self-sabotaging behaviours and want to replace them with a more positive, conscious and proactive mode of being that leads to greater happiness, wellness and success. I am an experienced Counselling Psychologist who offers therapy from my practice in North Chelmsford. I provide a supportive and constructive space for you to explore the difficulties and challenges you may be experiencing.
I have practised at multiple psychotherapy services, including charities, private sector and NHS primary and secondary care, focusing on issues such as depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, abuse, chronic illness, relationships and bereavement.
I adopt an integrative model which means I draw from different theoretical approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and psychodynamic theories. I work collaboratively with my clients and believe the therapeutic relationship is the most important component in psychological therapy.

Member organisations
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.

My practice is around 10 minutes drive from Chelmsford Railway Station in North Chelmsford.
Major roads easily accessible from Chelmsford include the A130 (two minutes drive away) and the A12 (eight minutes drive away).
There is parking available on the drive outside.
