Dr Lara Lopes De Jesus - Counselling Psychologist BPS acc & HCPC reg
I am a qualified and experienced Counselling Psychologist who offers therapy and counselling from my practice in Channels, Chelmsford.
Psychotherapy and counselling can be helpful for many emotional or psychological difficulties. These can include depression, anxiety, low self-esteem and relationship problems. As well as helping with difficulties, therapy also offers an opportunity for personal development and growth.
Offering you a style that is warm, empathic and accepting, I provide a supportive and constructive space for you to explore the difficulties or challenges you may be experiencing. My approach is Integrative which is based in Humanistic, Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) theories.
The work consists of a series of regular, confidential sessions in which all of these issues can be talked through. Sometimes the focus is current difficulties; at other times we look at the effects that past problems have upon the present.
