About me

Hi, I'm Lety from Roots and Bloom Counselling. I specialise in supporting children, young people, and adults through complex emotional and physical challenges by integrating comprehensive counselling with a focus on the mind-body connection. My practice offers neurodiversity-affirming, culturally-sensitive tailored support for chronic stress, anxiety, chronic and acute health conditions, and broader emotional and well-being concerns. I aim to provide a safe and non-judgemental space, empowering you to make sense of your experiences, find relief, and build the inner resources to thrive in every aspect of your life.

Training, qualifications & experience

I'm a qualified integrative counsellor, relaxation therapist and sophrotherapist (mind-body therapy). I am specialised in working with children and young people, and in particular with neurodiverse clients of all ages.

I've been offering sophrotherapy and talking therapy for the past 4 years to clients of all ages and walks of life, in my private practice, in schools, and with counselling agencies.

I offer a variety of approaches:

  • Tailored, person-centred
  • solution-focussed
  • strength-based
  • humanistic
  • In a compassionate and safe environment

My goal is to empower you to understand and make sense of your challenges, in particular by reconnecting to your mind, emotion and body experiences. I support you to untangle and regulate your emotions, bring physical relief to tensions and symptoms, appease your mind, soothe your emotions, and strengthen your mindset.
