About me

I am qualified psychotherapist and counsellor, Dip CTS,MNCS(Accred),Cert Hyp. CS,Ad Dip PC.

During COVID-19 crisis, I am offering REDUCED rates for a telephone and video sessions. £45 per online session.

50 minutes Face-to-Face session is £70 when pay by cash and £72 when by PayPal.   -- Face-to-Face is not available at this time.

I am qualified to hold an online therapy over a video call or a phone(audio) call . You can stay within the safe confines of your home. During these unprecedented times, people are being met with unique challenges. I am here to provide a safe, empathetic space within which to explore uncertainties and anxieties and to try and find new ways of discovering meaning and fulfilment in the face of insecurity and fear.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to call me. Free 15 min a phone consult with no commitment to book a session.

I use an integrative approach to enable my clients to regain control of their lives, and to revive their sense of self enabling them to get back on track with living. My counselling practice is open-minded and I listen to my client’s wishes.

My warm and genuine personality, combined with creativity, and an ability to infuse different approaches means I can tailor my therapy to the uniqueness of a person.

The way I work and the approach I use is based on my client’s actual mood and needs.

I have experience working with clients from a range of ages, sexualities, backgrounds and cultures and have been moved and privileged to be part of each of their journeys, through the tears, the laughter, the setbacks and the (often life-changing) personal growth.

I am a humanistic counsellor. My education in psychology involves integrative therapy, which gives me a broader overview and allows me to be flexible and more helpful to my clients. This means I can be diverse and tailor your therapy to suit you.

The approach I use is Integrative (combines different therapeutic tools and approaches to fit the needs of the individual client) ; Person-Centred, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Gestalt, Transactional Analysis, Psychotherapy, Psychoanalysis and Psychodynamic therapy (psychodynamic tends to be less intensive and briefer than psychoanalysis and also relies more on the interpersonal relationship between client and therapist)

Please see explanations of the terms above on my website www.KVTherapy.blog

I am flexible; empathetic and we consult the steps first to make sure my clients know what to expect.

If a client is unsure, I can offer 15 minutes an initial free consultation over a phone
