About me

📢 Now Accepting New Bookings!
I am pleased to announce that I have openings for private online clients, as well as for AVIVA, Healix, and Bupa clients. For Bupa clients, I currently have three available slots for hybrid therapy (a combination of face-to-face and online sessions) in Finsbury Park, N7 6A. Please note that I am not accepting clients from other insurance providers at this time.

Allow me to introduce myself and share a glimpse into my journey as a counsellor. Guiding individuals through their darkest moments to moments of profound growth is not just my profession but my passion. Rooted in empathy and authenticity, my counselling approach is driven by a deep-seated belief in the transformative power of connection and self-discovery. Drawing from my own experiences and values of compassion and resilience, I am committed to creating a safe and supportive space for you to explore, heal, and thrive. It's my privilege to walk alongside you on your path to healing, and I look forward to the opportunity to support you on your journey.

In my practice, I've found a profound connection between exercise and mental health. Understanding this relationship, I offer "talk and walk therapy," a unique approach that not only fosters emotional well-being but also enhances physical health. Life can often present challenges that feel overwhelming, prompting individuals to seek a safe space where they can freely express their emotions and discuss their struggles. My aim is to provide that sanctuary and guide individuals towards solutions, develop actionable plans, or connect them with suitable resources.

In addition to walk and talk therapy, I also offer online therapy sessions, providing flexibility and accessibility to support individuals wherever they may be

Whether grappling with anxiety, depression, family conflicts, stress, or relationship issues, I am committed to helping my clients rediscover balance and regain control over their lives. Equipping my clients with coping skills empowers them to navigate future challenges with resilience, effectively becoming their own therapists.

My practice is rooted in integrative therapy, which encompasses a range of counseling modalities such as Person-centered counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic therapy, Gestalt therapy, Transactional Analysis, Psychotherapy, and Psychoanalysis. By drawing from these diverse approaches, therapy can be tailored to meet each individual's unique needs within a supportive and nurturing environment.

Here's a brief overview of some of the modalities I utilize:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Focused on goal-setting, CBT helps identify and implement practical solutions to improve circumstances and mindset.
Psychodynamic Therapy: By delving into early experiences, this approach addresses underlying feelings and behaviors that influence present-day challenges.
Gestalt Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Psychotherapy, and Psychoanalysis: These modalities explore past and childhood experiences, offering valuable insights into present concerns and facilitating healing.
For further clarification on these therapeutic terms, I invite you to visit my website: www.KVTherapy.blog.

As a qualified integrative therapist/counselor for adults, I hold several credentials, including Dip CTS, MNCS (Accred), Cert. Hyp. CS, and Ad Dip PC. Currently pursuing a BSc in Psychology and Counseling, I am dedicated to staying informed and evolving in my practice. Additionally, I offer online counseling services via secure video or phone (audio) calls, extending accessibility to clients beyond geographical limitations.

Conveniently located in the NW6 area and Central London, I offer both walk-talk sessions and online options. Should you have any inquiries, please don't hesitate to reach out. I provide a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation, allowing you to explore whether my services align with your needs without any obligation to schedule a session.

Together, we can embark on a journey towards greater mental and emotional well-being.

My Experience as a Counsellor

Since 2018, I've had the privilege of working alongside reputable organizations such as Each, Mind, and Place2Be, before establishing my private practice in 2019. Throughout my journey, I've had the opportunity to work with clients of all ages, sexual orientations, backgrounds, and cultures. It's been a humbling experience to be a part of their diverse journeys, witnessing moments of tears, joy, disappointments, personal growth, and even life-changing events.
As an adult integrative therapist/counsellor, I bring a wealth of credentials to the table, including Dip CTS, MNCS (Accred), Cert. Hypnotherapist CS, and Ad Dip PC. Currently pursuing a BSc in Psychology and Counseling, I am committed to expanding my knowledge and skills in the field. Additionally, I am qualified to offer online therapy sessions via video or phone conversations, ensuring accessibility and flexibility for my clients.

In my role as a part-time online counsellor/psychotherapist since 2019, I've provided individual counselling sessions via online platforms, addressing a wide range of emotional and psychological issues while maintaining accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
During my tenure at Each Charity, I specialized in providing counselling services for women and offered support to individuals dealing with drug and alcohol abuse. Similarly, as a Place2Be counsellor at  Primary School, I addressed emotional and behavioral challenges among students, collaborating closely with school staff and parents to create a supportive environment for student well-being.
My commitment to supporting mental health extends beyond my professional roles. As a volunteer mentor and member of the Advisor Group at Mind Charity, I provided guidance and support to individuals in need while actively contributing to the enhancement of organizational services and strategies.
Employing an integrative approach, I tailor counselling techniques to meet the specific needs and goals of each client, ensuring a personalized and effective therapeutic experience. Your well-being is my priority, and I am dedicated to accompanying you on your journey towards healing and growth.

Please feel free to reach out to me for a complimentary initial consultation. This session is an opportunity for us to discuss your needs and goals and to ensure that my approach aligns with what you're looking for. Your comfort and satisfaction are paramount, and I'm here to support you every step of the way. Looking forward to speaking with you.
