About me
You may feel held back by the way you’re living your life and wish things could be different — calmer, clearer, and more in your control.
I offer a collaborative, supportive space where you can talk openly about what’s going on in your life without fear of judgement or criticism. Together, we can explore how you got here, deepen your understanding of yourself, and begin to untangle patterns such as people-pleasing or coping strategies that feel automatic. Over time, this can help you feel less caught in old cycles and more able to respond to life in ways that feel intentional rather than reactive.
Clients often find that as this process unfolds, they begin to feel more grounded in themselves, more able to trust their own decisions, and less overwhelmed by internal or external pressures.
I often work with people who feel “not good enough,” overwhelmed, or stuck in familiar patterns — whether in relationships, at work, or in how they relate to themselves.
My approach is relational and trauma-informed, meaning I pay close attention to your unique experiences and how these have shaped you. Together, we can make sense of what’s been happening internally, reduce self-criticism, and support you in developing a steadier, more compassionate relationship with yourself.
Many clients find this leads to feeling:
Less overwhelmed by their emotions
More able to regulate and understand what they’re feeling
Clearer about their needs and boundaries
More confident in how they move forward in their life
Alongside this, I have additional training in Autism-informed counselling and I am currently training in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing).
I work in a way that is respectful of neurodiversity, adapting sessions to suit your needs and processing style. Whether you are autistic, exploring a diagnosis, or identify with autistic traits, I offer a space where you can feel less pressure to mask, and more permission to be yourself - just as you are.
Where past experiences or distressing events continue to feel present in your life, EMDR can support you in processing these in a safe and contained way, helping to reduce their emotional intensity and the impact they have on your day-to-day wellbeing. I provide a calm, consistent, and stabilising environment where we can explore them at a pace that feels manageable.
Over time, clients often describe feeling:
More understood and less alone in what they’re carrying
More in control of emotional responses, rather than feeling overwhelmed by them
Better able to pause, rather than react automatically
Clearer, steadier, and more confident in themselves
I also have experience supporting clients with misophonia, helping them understand how it affects their daily life, develop practical coping strategies, set boundaries, and build a personalised toolkit to reduce distress and regain a sense of control.
If you’re unsure whether counselling is right for you, I offer a free 15–20 minute introductory phone or video call. This is a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where you can:
Share a little about what’s going on for you
Ask any questions
Get a sense of how I work
You can then decide whether it feels like the right fit for you — no pressure, just space to think it through.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
