About me
Hi, I'm Kim. For over 15 years I've supported people through some of life's most difficult moments, helping them find hope, confidence and a way forward
Together we can begin to understand you more deeply, explore the patterns you've developed and make sense of why life feels difficult right now. I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you can share your story and together we can explore your learnt patterns and behaviours and how they have impacted your life. Everyone has a story, and I believe that having the opportunity to tell yours in a safe, accepting space can be the first step towards understanding yourself and creating meaningful change.
I know reaching out for support can feel daunting, especially when you've been carrying things on your own for a long time. You don't have to face it alone, let's work together so we can explore these feelings. I offer a warm, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what is troubling you. Together, we can explore your experiences, make sense of difficult thoughts and feelings, and help you move towards a life that feels more manageable and fulfilling.
Your issues may be linked to anxiety, depression, trauma, domestic abuse, low self-esteem, self-harm, grief, addiction, discrimination, disability, family difficulties or life transitions. My aim is to help you feel heard, understood and you feeling empowered so you can make meaningful changes at a pace that feels right for you.
Perhaps you've noticed that you put everyone else's needs before your own. You may find it difficult to say no, leaving you feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, anxious or low.
You may be grieving, this can leave you feeling lost, guilty or unsure how to move forward. Together we can explore those feelings at a pace that feels right for you.
My own life experiences have shown me the importance of feeling truly heard. That's why I'm passionate about offering a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly and feel understood.
Reaching out is never easy, but you are here and you have taken the first steps. If you would like a free, no commitment telephone call consultation please get in touch. You may have never had counselling and unsure what to expect, please book a consultation and we can discuss the next steps. Please ask me questions about my practice and we can explore how working together might feel.
I believe that feeling truly heard can be the beginning of healing.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
