Kevin Williams (BA hons) BACP registered
During this difficult time I wish to cut through the sales talk.
I am a professionally qualified counsellor and registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
I have experience of working with a wide range of issues and understand stress well.
I am very conscious of the level of anxiety out there at present and feel this myself.
These are times of uncertainty, fear, anxiety and so much more.
I offer you the opportunity to have someone to listen and to truly try and help you gain some balance in what is a time of considerable uncertainty.
Be it to simply listen for one session or to have an ongoing supportive relationship please feel free to contact me. I will work with you to support yourself.
What I work with and how I work with clients
By experience I have found that clients will sometimes be quite specific about what they want and other times they are searching for what is wrong. In the initial stages of counselling I take great care to develop trust as only then can you feel truly safe to speak freely and openly.
I strongly believe in working towards improving how we live on a daily basis whilst recognising that the past and worries about the future can impact on how we live in the present. I have experience of working with many issues eg anxiety, depression, stress, addictions, PTSD/Trauma and more. I will not define you by a diagnosis or a lable as I see every client as the professional in knowing themselves. I offer you a balanced perspective and supportive relationship where you sit at the centre of our work together.
I quite happy to have an initial telphone chat and answer any questions you may have.
