About me
Relationships can reach a point where conversations become arguments, silence replaces connection, or you find yourself having the same painful thoughts and feelings without finding a way forward. Whether you're facing a relationship crisis, recovering from a betrayal, adjusting to change or loss, or simply feeling distant from someone important in your life, therapy can help you make sense of what is happening and find a way forward with greater clarity and understanding.
I work with couples and individuals navigating relationship difficulties, betrayal, loss, and the lasting impact of experiences that have left them doubting themselves or struggling to trust others. Many people come to therapy feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or unsure of their own feelings, needs, and decisions.
Over the years, I have come to believe that many relationship difficulties are not caused by a lack of love or care. More often, people become caught in cycles of misunderstanding, hurt, disappointment, or silence. When trust has been damaged, whether through betrayal, abandonment, difficult family experiences, or painful relationships, these patterns can become harder to break.
A genuine and trusting therapeutic relationship sits at the heart of my work. As therapy unfolds, many people begin to feel less alone with their experiences, more emotionally steady, and more able to trust themselves.
Sessions can become a place where you no longer have to hold everything together, and where you can begin to reconnect with yourself, your needs, and what matters most to you, gently, safely, and at your own pace.
When working with couples, I help both partners feel heard and understood. I do not take sides. My role is to support you in having conversations that may have become difficult, helping you understand one another more clearly and find a way forward that feels right for both of you.
Sessions can become a place where you no longer have to hold everything together, and where you can begin to reconnect with your sense of self, your body, and your needs, gently, safely, and at your own pace.
I offer online therapy for couples and adults across the UK and face-to-face sessions in a peaceful location surrounded by woodland, providing a calm and grounding environment for our work together. Sessions are available online, or by telephone, on a short, medium, or long-term basis.

I have had the privilege of working with adults from a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and cultures. These experiences have helped me develop a deep appreciation for each person’s uniqueness and the ability to create a warm, open space where clients feel safe to explore what’s affecting their well-being.
My training is grounded in relational, trauma-informed, and body-aware approaches, with a particular focus on attachment, emotional processing, and nervous system regulation. This allows me to work carefully and ethically with experiences of abandonment, betrayal, and loss of self-trust, supporting both emotional depth and emotional steadiness in therapy.
Experience
I have experience working with adults from a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and cultures, and I value the individuality each person brings to therapy. My work includes supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-worth, and relationship difficulties, as well as grief, separation, and loss.
I also have experience working with trauma, including childhood and relational trauma, domestic abuse, and the longer-term impact of abandonment and betrayal. Alongside this, I support clients navigating anger, self-harm, suicidal thoughts, and patterns of self-blame or responsibility for others’ behaviour. I also work with clients experiencing neurodiversity (ASD and ADHD), women’s health challenges, and work- or health-related stress.
Professional
I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work in accordance with their Ethical Framework for Good Practice. I attend regular clinical supervision to reflect on and develop my practice, ensuring I work safely, ethically, and effectively.
I hold professional indemnity insurance, an up-to-date DBS check, and I am registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in compliance with data protection regulations.
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
