About me

I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who has a passion to help you to achieve your full potential in life. I am here to work with you through any difficulties you may be facing by bringing you a different perspective on your problems from a non-judgemental and supportive standpoint.

I have worked in the Forensic and Healthcare field for over 10 years working with individuals of all ages and genders from a range of backgrounds. I have worked in the community, schools, private hospitals, Criminal Justice System and the NHS.

Every client is unique and I pride myself in assisting my clients in rejuvenating themselves and equipping them with the skills and coping strategies so they are able to face life with confidence in themselves and their abilities.

Within therapy we will set goals together and it will give you a safe place to discuss your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. By doing so we will be working towards you leading a fulfilling life once again.

These are some of the reasons you might choose to start individual therapy:

- Depression
- Low self-esteem
- Anxiety (e.g. social anxiety and general anxiety)
- Trauma
- Sexually Compulsive Behaviour
- Substance Misuse
- Addictive Behaviour
- Stress
- Relationship difficulties
- Panic Disorder
- Anger difficulties
- Bipolar
- Phobias
- Personality Disorder
- Pain Management

Although many of the reasons couples choose to start therapy are similar to individuals there are a range of additional difficulties such as:

- Conflict and anger
- Lack of Trust
- Difficulties in communicating
- Anxiety for one or both individuals
- Life Stress
- Addiction
- Extra-marital relationships
- Where one or both feel depressed
- Commitment decisions

Please feel free to contact me so we can discuss how I can help in rejuvenating you.
