About me

I qualified in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT, BABCP registered) after my Psychology and Criminology degree and Forensic Psychology Masters. I have around 11 years experience in and out of the NHS working with individuals ranging in age, gender, backgrounds and mental health difficulties. I have also worked closely with family and loved ones of those with mental health difficulties.I have recently finished by Doctorate in Forensic Psychology, which entails research alongside clinical work in different settings, working with a lot of different people.

I am passionate about helping individuals in making changes to so you are able to life the live you want or once lived. I provide a safe place for you to discuss your thoughts, feelings and behaviours. The goal will be for us to change your response to such thoughts, feelings and behaviours. In doing so we will be able to work through the difficulties you are facing. When making these changes I will help you to develop your own CBT skills so you can get back to leading a fulfilling life

These are some of the reasons you might choose to start individual therapy:

- Stress

- Anger difficulties
- Bipolar
- Phobias
- Personality Disorder
- Pain Management

As well as individual therapy I work with couples, although many of the reasons couples choose to start therapy are similar to individuals there are a range of additional difficulties such as:
- Conflict and anger
- Lack of Trust
- Difficulties in communicating
- Anxiety for one or both individuals
- Life Stress
