About me
My name is Kelley and I am passionate about helping my clients become the best version of themselves, I regularly witness the benefits that clients can experience. I work from a cosy home office, where you will feel listened to and valued. I work with whatever the client brings into the room, although the initial issue is often rooted elsewhere I have seen anxiety, identity crisis, stress, low self esteem, ADHD, Autism, neurodiversity, family and relationship difficulties, self harm, depression and childhood wounds or trauma in my therapy room.
Do you suffer with low self esteem, do you obsessively worry whether you have made the right choice so you find you continue to second guess yourself? Does your lack of self confidence or belief in yourself hold you back from getting that promotion or chasing that dream? Do you worry about what others think of you, or have an inner critic always telling you off or putting you down? Do you work out every possible scenario/outcome? Do you struggle to say no even when you want to? I believe therapy could help you!
The relationship that you build with your therapist enables you to look at yourself and past experiences with honesty and vulnerability allowing you to understand how you have come to be the person you see in the mirror, to understand and recognise your patterns and subsequently make choices to help live your best life. We will work in partnership to achieve goals that you have identified, we will regularly check in and I will ask for your feedback so that we can adapt and change to ensure you are getting what you need from therapy. As a person I am more solution focussed and so I have also completed a second diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy which has a more prescriptive approach with homework and direction for the client, this approach looks to identify the links between our thoughts and behaviours, and how we can challenge and change them to impact our lives in a positive way. The relationship is just as important but the therapy is more about the here and now.
You are not alone and there is no shame in asking for help when you are feeling low and anxious, overwhelmed or stressed. I can help you to understand yourself, put in boundaries and advocate for yourself. I can encourage and model self care, love and kindness all while really listening to you and understanding your unique experience.
I am an accredited member of the BACP which means I have gone through extended measures to demonstrate how I work as a therapist and I now supervise other therapists with their client work. I continue my professional development by reading, attending seminars and taking training that relates to current clients. Recently I have undergone training around understanding Autism in girls and women. For those of you awaiting a diagnosis, needing support to understand yourself, for parents fighting for what your child needs and deserves but never feeling heard, for those of you keeping your chin above the water I see you, your feelings and concerns are welcome here, maybe we can explore them together.
Sharing your problems can often feel like a weight has been lifted, having your feelings validated and understood is part of a powerful process that helps to build self esteem and confidence.
I fully appreciate how intimidating it can be asking for help and walking into the unknown so please contact me for a free introductory phone call where we can establish how we can work together to meet your needs.
Everyone is welcome here at Weller Wellbeing and I look forward to meeting you.
I work with lots of counselling students from local providers and am happy to discount sessions for you, please contact me to discuss further.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
