About me
Hi, I’m Katrin, a warm and qualified counsellor. Thank you for being here.
I work in a neurodiversity-affirming way with young people and adults, offering a welcoming space where you can be yourself and explore what’s on your mind.
Life brings change, challenges, and new beginnings. We may second-guess ourselves, struggle in our relationships, feel overwhelmed, or carry things that others can't always see. Sometimes we question old assumptions and wonder where we fit or who we are becoming.
You may be feeling anxious or overwhelmed, notice difficulties in your life or relationships, navigating loss or change, or exploring questions of identity and meaning.
Some people come to counselling to explore life through a neurodivergent lens, whether that relates to autism, ADHD or AuDHD. I offer space for those conversations too.
Therapy offers a calm, confidential space to talk openly about what’s been happening in your life and explore what feels important to you.
I work informally and flexibly, drawing on an integrative, relational approach. We go at your pace. I listen carefully, offering gentle questions and reflections when they feel helpful. Your feedback is always welcome.
Support is available online, by phone, or through walk-and-talk sessions in Leazes Park. Together, we can make sense of your experiences and consider what you need as you move forward.
Counselling can help you gain a clearer view and new perspectives, opening up the possibility of making choices that feel kinder and more supportive of yourself.
