About me

Maybe you don’t quite feel like yourself anymore. You might spend so much time thinking about what everyone else needs that you’ve lost track of your own, or perhaps you’re constantly questioning yourself, comparing yourself to others, overthinking decisions or wondering why you never seem to feel good enough. You might keep finding yourself in the same relationship patterns, struggle to know where your boundaries are, or simply feel stuck and unsure what you actually want from your life.

I work mainly with women who want to build a stronger relationship with themselves. That might mean working through people-pleasing and boundaries, low self-worth and confidence, overthinking and self-doubt, difficult relationship or family patterns, or that harder-to-name feeling that you’ve become disconnected from yourself somewhere along the way.

Sometimes you might even already know exactly where a pattern came from. You’ve thought about it, read about it, maybe even talked about it before, but knowing why something happens hasn’t necessarily stopped it from happening.

That’s an important part of how I work. I’m interested in understanding what sits underneath a pattern, but I don’t believe therapy has to end with insight. We can look at where things began, what is keeping them going now, and what needs to shift for things to actually feel different in your everyday life.

I’m an integrative psychotherapist, which means I don’t expect you to fit neatly into one particular model of therapy. My work is grounded in a person-centred approach, but depending on you and what we’re working with, I may also draw on psychodynamic, humanistic, behavioural and other therapeutic approaches. I may bring in practical, creative or experiential tools when they help us explore something in a different way.

My style is active and collaborative, but therapy is also a space that is entirely yours. Somewhere you can be heard, understood, and explore who you are away from the roles, expectations and pressures you carry in everyday life. There’s room to discover what you think, feel and want, without having to perform, please or have everything figured out.

We might look backwards at experiences that have shaped you, work with what is happening in your life now, think about where you want to go next, or, more often, move between all three.

A lot of my work ultimately comes back to the relationship you have with yourself: trusting your own judgement, recognising your needs, feeling more secure in who you are, setting boundaries without automatically feeling guilty, and making choices that feel right for you rather than simply doing what you think you should.
