About me
Feeling stuck, lost or confused? All of the above? Hoping to really be heard?
I provide a safe and caring space to explore and understand yourself without judgement. I am a person-centred counsellor providing both short and long term therapy to adult individuals in Milton Keynes and Online.
Whether you are new to therapy or returning after a break, it can be difficult to reach out and find a person you feel comfortable and safe to speak too. This is especially hard when we want to explore honestly about how we think, feel and what we believe.
I can give you a welcoming and warm experience where we will connect and explore what is important to you, person to person. I give you real responses, real empathy and real interactions that don’t feel false, robotic or clinical. I’m here to really listen.
I support you in navigating your feelings, thoughts, behaviour, beliefs and your processes without judgements or expectations on what you "should" think, feel or do.
How do I work?
Therapy can feel like starting out lost in a forest with no compass, map or clear path. My role as a therapist isn’t to tell you where to go or what to do, but to walk alongside you and point out what I can see.
I will help you explore and understand what landmarks are visible, where you’ve come from, and where you could go. I'll help you build self-acceptance and self-compassion, and allow you the space to really understand how you feel about the forest around you and the paths ahead. It’s up to you to map the journey you’d like to take, once the weeds are cleared away. I will walk alongside you, so aren’t alone.
I can help with depression, anxiety, stress, trauma, neurodiversity, menopause, chronic health issues, loss, LGBTQIA+, self-esteem, and more. I am a trauma-informed therapist with a background volunteering for rape crisis, and have worked with survivors of sexual violence, abuse, rape and childhood sexual abuse.
What are my qualifications?
I am a BACP registered person-centred therapist.
I work with the person-centred modality and I have a level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling, and regularly undertake CPD to improve and inform my practice.
What can I provide in terms of sessions?
I provide a free 30-minute telephone or video consultation session so you can decide if you would like to work with me. In this session we can assess your needs, answer any questions and ensure I am suitable to provide you with the right service. We will then book in for our first session if you wish to go ahead.
Before our first session I will send you a copy of my contract, my privacy policy and an assessment questionnaire.
During our first session, I will go into detail on how therapy works, what you can expect from me and really give you the space to tell me what you are looking for and answer any questions you may have.
You will have the space to talk about what you want to bring to therapy and what is truly important to you, even if the answer is "I don't know!", there is no right or wrong.
My sessions are priced as below:
Face-to-Face Session (Central Milton Keynes) - £50.00
Online Session (UK Only) - £40.00

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
