About me

I am an Integrative counsellor who has a great deal of experience working with individuals on the autism spectrum, helping clients feel as safe and grounded as possible and letting them take the lead in their own therapy. Once clients have settled into the counselling environment, I help my clients to clarify exactly what their issues look and feel like to them (for no two clients experience issues the same way) and to discover the person who is underneath--the strong individual who has survived all life has thrown at them, and who doesn't need to be defined by their struggles. With time and care, clients can learn to take care of themselves, and use what they learn in counselling to greatly improve their ways of life. Sometimes, counselling can be a bit like a rollercoaster, and so I take a slower and gentle approach to make sure my clients are supported through both the ups and the downs of their journey.

I work with clients that maybe struggling with anxiety, depression or generally feeling a bit sad or low

I initially do a initial consultation of 20 minutes in which Is free and then organise a full session if still wanted of 50 minutes

If you are currently finding things more difficult lately please get in touch to see how I can help

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
