About me
Hi, I’m Kate - founder of The Mind Matters and a qualified counsellor who believes in the power of self-acceptance, personal growth, and having a safe space to talk.
I know from personal experience that reaching out for support can feel daunting, but you don’t have to go through it alone. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, low self-esteem, grief, stress, or just feeling a little lost, I’m here to offer a safe, non-judgmental space to talk, heal, and grow at your own pace.
Some people come to therapy for a short time, while others find ongoing support helpful. You might dip in and out of counselling as needed throughout your life, and that’s completely okay. We’ll go at a pace that feels right for you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I hold a Professional Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Prof. Dip Psy C) and I’m accredited by the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), following their ethical framework.
I have experience within the NHS offering counselling sessions to patients at a medical practice.
