About me

I’m Kate, a qualified integrative, therapeutic counsellor, clinical hypnotherapist, psychotherapist, Advanced EFT practitioner, qualified breathwork practitioner, registered NLP practitioner and Mindfulness Coach.  I am trained in CBTi (cognitive behavioural therapy for insomnia) and  can assess your sleep issues, help you learn to track your circadian rhythm, and give you all the help you need to get a good night’s sleep.  I hold an advanced Diploma and Master Practitioner status from the National Centre for Eating Disorders and am an Eating Disorders Specialist.  I work from my therapy room in Hampton Hill (the Borough of Richmond) and online.

Reaching out for therapy can feel daunting, especially if you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, family issues, OCD, or the effects of trauma. I offer a calm, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you don’t need to have the right words or a clear plan, we begin wherever you are. My work is relational and trauma-informed, and I tailor each session to you, drawing on integrative counselling, hypnotherapy, and gentle mind–body approaches where helpful. Clients often tell me they feel heard, steadier, and more able to understand what’s been happening for them, without feeling rushed or pushed to change. If you’re looking for thoughtful, compassionate support at a pace that feels right, you’re very welcome here.

I also specialise in working with neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and autism, offering an approach that is flexible, affirming, and sensitive to differences in communication, processing, and sensory experience.

Alongside talking therapy, I can also bring in practical tools like Clinical Hypnotherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT tapping), NLP, Breathwork, Mindfulness NLP and psycho-education, always with care, always with consent, and always in service of your growth and wellbeing.

I aim to create a relationship that feels safe, real, and empowering, where all parts of you are welcome, and lasting change feels possible.

What sets my practice apart is the breadth of therapeutic tools I bring. This allows me to work flexibly and creatively, adapting our sessions to suit your needs and preferences.

You might want a space to talk and reflect, or you might prefer practical tools to calm anxiety, manage difficult emotions, or explore inner conflicts. Many clients appreciate having access to both, a blend of depth and strategy, especially when struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, people-pleasing, sleep issues, confidence or emotional overwhelm.

I offer online and face-to-face sessions, and work with adults and teens from all walks of life. Sessions are client-led, paced with care, and grounded in respect.

You are the expert in your own experience, I simply offer the space, skills and support to help you explore, heal, and grow.

Please do get in contact with me to ask me anything about integrative counselling, clinical hypnotherapy, EFT Tapping, breathwork, NLP and Mindfulness, and the bespoke one-to-one therapy I offer, and how it can help you.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
