About me
I help trauma and loss survivors be secure in the here and now, connect with their inner child, and live life on their own terms. Drop me an email or give me a call to book a free initial consultation!
We have all faced adversity – unfortunately, going through traumatic experiences is a given.
It may make us feel like our pain is not valid enough to share and work through. WELL, IT DEFINITELY IS!
Not processing our stuff can really affect our mental wellbeing and cause anxiety, depression, addiction, PTSD and other mood or personality disorders.
I believe we all deserve to process the pain in a safe space and live happy lives on our terms.
Training, qualifications & experience
I use the trauma-informed lens as I integrate various approaches with Transactional Analysis. I deliver the Stabilisation Phase of trauma therapy as I combine TA models with the STAIR protocol and grounding strategies. I also use Brainspotting as part of the Processing stage.
I have a BSc in Psychology and a certificate in Therapeutic Counselling specialising in Transactional Analysis. I also hold certificates in Grief and Bereavement Counselling, Brainspotting Phase 1 and Phase 2, Rewind Therapy and introduction to Narrative Exposure Therapy training.
I am committed to continuous self-development so I can provide a service that helps you transform your life. I integrate a variety of models to suit your unique journey.
I am a Director and Therapy Affiliate of Mental Health Monster - A community group set up to shatter the stigma, break the barriers, educate and open up conversations about mental health.
Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

Accredited Register Scheme
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
