About me

I am a Qualified Integrative Counsellor dedicated to helping adults and young people find emotional balance and mental wellbeing, through short-term and long-term therapeutic counselling support.

Our work together is collaborative, and you'll have the opportunity to examine your life experiences within a safe, confidential environment alongside someone who sits outside your day-to-day life. This therapeutic alliance allows for fresh perspectives to emerge, supporting you in achieving greater emotional equilibrium and deeper self-understanding. I work to support you to discover your own way forward.

Life naturally brings periods of imbalance - times when we feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or uncertain about our path forward. I provide a confidential, non-judgemental and open space where you can reconnect with your inner wisdom, restore mental and emotional balance, and cultivate lasting wellbeing through person centred and integrative counselling.

I work with clients from all backgrounds, dealing with depression, anxiety, grief and everyday life issues that sometimes feel overwhelming and impossible to manage. In our initial sessions, we explore why you have come into counselling and how you would like to use the sessions to change some of the issues and difficulties you are dealing with. Your growth and change are at the heart of our work.

The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
