About me
I am a professional BACP accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist with 20 years experience. I am also an EMDR practitioner and an accredited workplace mediator.
I provide a safe, neutral space for you to explore the difficulties and issues that bring you to counselling with the aim of helping you to gain a deeper and clearer awareness, insight and understanding of anything that is distressing, concerning or restricting you.
It may be one particular issue that needs addressing and/or a closer look at ways in which lifestyle, values and beliefs no longer serve you. With this in mind, I offer longer term, open ended therapy or short term focused therapy, with specific issues to address. (solution focused/CBT)
In my work I help individuals to improve quality of life, address a particular issue and build better personal and professional relationships.
I specialise in helping people with anxiety, stress, anger management, depression, accidents, chronic illness, accidents, relationship issues, work related issues, victims of crime, sexuality, bereavement and loss, trauma and PTSD.
Getting started
Getting started is probably the hardest step. Contact me in confidence by telephone, email or via my website with any questions or to arrange a meeting.
I offer an initial consultation, during that initial contact we shall discuss what your initial needs and requirements are. It may be you have a specific issue which you would like to explore, or a general sense that something is missing from your life or you are not living life in a way that you want to.
To book your first session please call me on 07887748666 or email me here

I believe that we keep ourselves small and limit our capacity for growth. We put emphasis on what we ‘should be’ instead of what we would like to be.
My interest and desire is to support you: to live life more authentically and in sync with your truth, to embrace self-acceptance and self-love and to enable you to have more fulfilling and intimate relationships and a deeper connection with yourselves and your true nature.

Member organisations
school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
