About me
Easy to talk to, open minded humanistic therapist, who genuinely wants to understand what it means to be You. I appreciate how daunting the first step can be to reach out for help - so if you are suffering from psychological distress that is no longer bearable, whether it is as a result of constant anxiety, depression, nihilistic despair, social anxiety, or rooted in longer term issues such as low self esteem, feeling alienated or like you don't belong, and these chronic issues have recently got unmanageable and you feel you need some additional support, then please rest assured that I can help and your call will be received with sensitivity & compassion.
Equally if you have very specific conditions that you have been diagnosed with (such as ADHD, Bi-Polar, PTSD etc) and the meds alone are not enough to resolve your distress, I have 6yrs of intensive training as a psychotherapist that means I am qualified to work with complex client presentations who may be in an extremely fragile and vulnerable place and need to be reassured they are working with a practitioner who understands and is experienced in providing the level of expert care required.
My approach is rooted in a deep-held respect for my clients, and I believe what we all need most is to be seen, heard, & understood – and ultimately recognised, valued, and accepted for who we understand ourselves to be. This requires the healing presence of a non-judgmental, emotionally attuned, and psychologically available therapist, who has a genuine desire to understand what it means to be you – this is exactly what you can expect from me - week in, week out.
There is no shame in admitting that we all face struggles during our life, where our problems challenge us on a level that forces us to confront the very limits of our capability. When we are confronted by such overwhelming stressors - they can often threaten the very core of our sense of Self & Identity and curtail our ability to act. It is in these moments when we find ourselves needing to swallow our pride and to reach out for help.
If you are looking for someone to talk to, who has a genuine passion about helping you in whatever way best suits you, whether its to find the necessary courage and self-belief to move forward in your life, or maybe something more deep rooted such as discovering a newfound sense of purpose and belonging, or simply seeking a new perspective from which to view and address your problems - whatever the issue please feel free to call or drop me a line so we can explore how we might work together.
With that in mind, it is my belief that the quality of the relationship between client and therapist is the most important, and so I offer a free initial consultation on zoom (20-30mins) to help you make the all important decision of who to put your trust in and work with.

Training, qualifications & experience
MSc Humanistic Psychotherapy (Middlesex University) - accredited via the United Kingdom Counsel for Psychotherapy (UKCP)
Post Graduate Diploma Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counselling (Metanoia Institute)
Registered Member of the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists (BACP)
Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
