J. Sian Evans MBACP
There can be times in our lives when we experience emotional or psychological issues, which create painful thoughts and feelings, which may result in not being able to cope as usual. Perhaps you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, or stress at work, relationship issues, perhaps a major event such as a divorce, bereavement or a past event is troubling you. It can be difficult to find a way forward. Counselling can offer an opportunity to explore your thoughts and feelings and perhaps develop some new ways of managing.
Menai Bridge Counselling Service provides a professional counselling service for you to explore your thoughts and feelings in a way that enables you to talk openly in a safe and non- judgemental space. I offer integrative person centred counselling, which means we work together focussing on the issues unique to you, to achieve your personal goals, as set by you.
I am passionate and committed in supporting clients in exploring their issues. My aim is to work with clients to build healthier emotional lives that enable them to move forward making positive changes.
Counselling is a very personal and sometimes painful process; as such there may be times when you experience periods of feeling worse before you feel better. However this is all part of the counselling process. The end result will enable you to hopefully move forward towards resolving issues and an improved emotional health.
The length of counselling varies depending on individual issues. This will be explored and agreed in the initial assessment session, however this will be reviewed regularly to ensure the client and counsellor are achieving the best outcome for the client.
