About me

Specialising in anxiety driven behaviours that can affect our daily lives and relationships especially the relationship with ourselves where we can sometimes find life a struggle. These feelings of worry, stress, upset, feeling out of control, fear of the unknown can impact on the way we behave at home, work or with partners and friends.

I have a Master's Degree in Transpersonal Psychology and Consciousness Studies awarded by the University of Northampton. This allows for a more mindful, spiritual and human approach to health issues bringing in a deeper understanding of some of the underlying reasons for some physical symptoms ranging from IBS, weight loss/gain, headaches, insomnia, cravings, back and joint pain for example.

Working in a solution focused approach having 20 years experience with anxiety based issues. Including working with children, young  people, couples and families.

I also offer hypnotherapy which is a gentle way of connecting with your deeper self, the part of you that helps you in all sorts of situations. It is safe, non-invasive and highly effective for helping reduce the symptoms of unwanted thoughts and behaviours you are experiencing. My career in healthcare started in the late 1980’s training in Neuro Linguistic programming and continued studies in Anatomy, Physiology & Pathology (function, structure and pathology of the human body), advanced training in sports physio and physical therapies, (physio at the Horsham Rugby club) then progressing onto complementary therapies such as Kinesiology and Nutrition and Diet, Bio Magnetic therapy, homeopathy and acupuncture. A truly holistic approach to each person.

Therapy sessions include support in relationships, partners, family and friends, bereavement and loss, anxiety, panic, OCD, children behavioural therapy and anxiety, weight issues, general worry and stress related issues.

Julie has worked as a naturopath for many years specialising in Bioresonance Therapy with an emphasis on food intolerances, a healthy digestive system and full health testing. Julie acknowledged the powerful connection between the mind and body with regard to good overall health and therefore studied Clinical Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy. Julie wanted to further validate her work by doing a Masters Degree in Transpersonal Psychology and Consciousness Studies at the University of Northampton. This allows for a more mindful, spiritual and human approach to health issues bringing in a deeper understanding of some of the underlying reasons for symptoms ranging from IBS, weight, headaches, insomnia, cravings, back and joint pain for example.

An experienced practitioner who has lectured at the University of Westminster, the Association for Fibromyalgia and the Association for Systematic Kinesiology. She has been featured in Health Sections of Spirit & Destiny, Best Magazine, Body Language, BBC and author of ‘Slim Now with Fish’, a booklet sponsored by Nestle and what was known as The White Fish Authority in the 80’s.
