About me

  • Therapist and couple’s counsellor working with internationally mobile and intercultural couples
  • Supporting relationships shaped by high-pressure careers and frequent transitions

When work demands, cultural differences, or ongoing change place strain on your relationship, it can feel hard to stay connected — or to feel like you’re truly on the same team. I help couples understand these dynamics, break unhelpful patterns, and strengthen their relationship in ways that feel realistic and sustainable.

My work often includes expat and bi-cultural partners, as well as couples navigating globally demanding careers.

Couples therapy

I support couples experiencing recurring conflict, emotional distance, trust issues, infidelity, or major life transitions — as well as couples who want to strengthen their relationship proactively as part of ongoing relational wellbeing.

My work is grounded in the Gottman Method, a research-based approach that helps couples improve communication, stregnthen trust, manage conflict more effectively, and create shared meaning.

Sessions are collaborative, structured, and tailored to your goals, whether you are in crisis or simply want to invest in your relationship.

Individual therapy

Alongside my couples work, I also work with individuals, often in the context of relationship challenges, mobility, or demanding careers.

You may be navigating anxiety, stress, low mood, relationship or parenting challenges, identity questions, or a significant life transition. Individual therapy offers a space to pause, reflect, and make sense of what you’re experiencing, supporting greater clarity and self-understanding.

A bit about me & my approach

I bring over 15 years of experience working in the international humanitarian and development sector, alongside my therapeutic training. As a “serial expat” myself, I am familiar with the personal and relational pressures that come with relocation, repeated transitions, and high-pressure roles.

My approach is integrative, trauma-informed, and inclusive. I work online, in English, with clients around the world.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
