About me

Finding the right therapist is an important step and I believe that feeling safe, understood and genuinely listened to is at the heart of successful therapy.

I am an Accredited Psychotherapist and Counsellor, Clinical Hypnotherapist, EMDR Practitioner and Clinical Supervisor, as well as a Founding Partner of White Lodge Therapy LLP. I have many years of experience supporting individuals and couples through a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties, and I am passionate about helping people make sense of their experiences and create meaningful, lasting change.

I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, low self-esteem, stress, burnout, attachment difficulties, relationship issues and significant life transitions. I also support clients who are living with the long-term effects of adverse childhood experiences or who feel that unhelpful patterns continue to impact their lives and relationships.

My approach is integrative, which means I tailor therapy to your individual needs rather than following a single therapeutic model. Drawing on approaches including Psychodynamic Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, EMDR, Gestalt Therapy, Inner Child Therapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy, we will work together to understand not only your current difficulties but also the underlying experiences that may be contributing to them. Therapy is always collaborative, moving at a pace that feels right for you.

Before retraining as a psychotherapist, I enjoyed a successful career as a Human Resources Director and Board Director. This experience gives me a particular understanding of workplace stress, leadership pressures, organisational change, career transitions and the challenges of balancing professional and personal life. I regularly work with professionals, business owners and senior leaders facing these issues.

Alongside individual therapy, I provide specialist couple's therapy, helping partners improve communication, rebuild trust, strengthen emotional connection and navigate conflict, betrayal, intimacy concerns and major life changes. My work is informed by attachment theory, enabling couples to better understand the patterns that influence their relationship and develop healthier ways of relating to one another.

I am also an experienced Clinical Supervisor, supporting trainee and qualified therapists in developing their clinical skills, confidence and reflective practice.

In addition to my clinical work, I serve as an Assessment Panel Member for both the National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) and the National Hypnotherapy Society (NHS), contributing to the independent review of professional conduct matters. This role reflects my commitment to ethical practice, professional integrity and maintaining the highest standards of client care.

Whatever has brought you to therapy, my aim is to provide a warm, compassionate and confidential space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgement. Together we can work towards helping you understand yourself more fully, overcome obstacles and move forward with greater confidence and resilience.
