About me
Do you sometimes feel 'too much', and/or sometimes don't feel anything when you might expect to have feelings?
Do you sometimes have the sense that you, or things around you, aren't real, or are kind of cloudy? Or maybe you're very aware of everything and it's hard to switch off.
Do you 'lose time', or notice that something seems to have happened but you don't remember it happening?
Maybe you've got a good idea of the reasons you're feeling sad, or down, or numb, or angry, or anxious, or maybe those feelings are puzzling or disturbing for you.
In therapy you can bring your feelings and thoughts, or take time to discover what you want to do. All parts of you are welcome here.
Therapy can be about talking about experiences and difficulties, but there are also creative ways of exploring what's going on for you - we can be more talk-y, or more creative: whichever you prefer. We work together to find out what works for you.
We can work long-term, and/or plan together how long you would like to come for.
A cat or cats could be present in therapy if you would like them and if they turn up - otherwise I will assume you don't want cats :)
Areas of specialism: NPE/unexpected DNA test results; controlling religions; dissociation and complex trauma, including Dissociative Identity 'Disorder'; RAMCOA/organised and extreme abuse.
Long-term or short-term availability for regular sessions Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri 8am, Thursday 9am and Friday 11am.
I am neurodivergent-affirming.
Please note that although I say I work with, for example, 'EUPD'/'BPD' and other things with 'disorder' as part of the term, that does not mean that I agree with those labels.

If you would like the option of cats being present in your therapy session then please ask and I will open up the cat flap into the room, although I can't guarantee cat/s will be present :) The cats eat hypoallergenic cat food so are unlikely to trigger allergies.
