About me

Hi, I’m Jude & I'm a person-centred counsellor ready to work with you and whatever challenges you are experiencing, in a warm & supportive way.

Life can often feel overwhelming—stress, exhaustion, and the constant demands from work, relationships, and daily responsibilities. It’s easy to put others first and neglect our own needs. But our health and well-being deserve attention too.

I focus on person-centred values, offering warmth & empathy to create a safe space where you can open up without fear of criticism or judgement.

I offer support with a wide range of presenting issues including:

  • Anxiety & depression
  • Low self-esteem & lack of confidence
  • Grief & loss
  • Anger Management
  • Family conflicts & relationship issues
  • Other emotional struggles

Recently, I've been working with a growing number of parents who are supporting their children with anxiety and the increase of Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA). Through this experience, I’ve gained an insight into the challenges parents face during these difficult and often stressful times.

Having the space to openly discuss your feelings and the impact these stressful situations are having on your life, can be really beneficial for your own well-being. When we make time for ourselves and recharge our energy, we often feel better equipped to face the challenges that come our way.

While the situation you're facing may not always have an easy solution, I’m here to offer support and listen to you with compassion and understanding. In  these moments, it’s often the supportive environment and the relationship between you and your counsellor that can help foster the change you need.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
