People seek counselling and therapy for all kinds of reasons, and I aim to meet everyone with genuine interest and curiosity.
I aim to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and friendly space, where you can explore the issues which trouble you and I can support you to make positive and enduring changes in your life.
With many years of previous experience as a registered nurse, I have worked with clients of all age ranges, nationalities, culture and needs; including children and young people and sexual and reproductive health and supported clients in making appropriate choices to meet their individual needs.
I’m a ‘Transactional Analysis (TA)’ counsellor and therapist.
TA, can be described as a theory of personality and relationships based on a study of specific ego states, a theory of social interaction or interpersonal communication and system of group and /or personal growth and personal change.

Diploma (level6) Transactional Analysis Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am accredited member with the National Counselling and Psychotherapy society. Membership number no NCS21-00520
Internal Family Systems Certificate (PESI)
I am a Registered Nurse and Registered School Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council Registration number 833Y1016E. I have over 45 years experience working with all ages but young people in particular, with sexual and reproductive health, teenage pregnancy, supporting parents and school age children with anxiety and sleep difficulties.

The National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society This Not For Profit association of counsellors and psychotherapists aim to support the counselling profession, members and training organisations. In 2013 the NCS register was accredited by the Professional Standards Authority under the Accredited Voluntary Register Scheme. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.

The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).

My main working hours are Tuesday to Thursday but I can offer some flexibility at alternative times, if you would like to discuss alternative times then I'd be happy to discuss your requests
