About me

Hello and welcome! I'm Josh, a dedicated Cognitive Behavioural Therapist/ Couple Therapist committed to helping you navigate life's challenges. With a strong foundation in evidence-based practices, I create a supportive and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.

At the core of my practice is Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), a proven method for addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, stress, and more. I believe in the power of understanding the connection between our thoughts, emotions, and actions - and understanding where they come from, and why you might feel the way you do. Does this sound like you?

  • You're experiencing challenges in your personal life, relationships, or career.
  • You want to understand the reasons behind your constant worry and anxiety.
  • You feel trapped in a cycle and find it hard to break free.
  • You want to change certain behaviours but find it difficult to do so by yourself.
  • You're feeling down and struggling with a low mood.

Together, we will work to identify the negative patterns, and develop healthier coping mechanisms and ways of thinking, to foster lasting change. My aim is to empower you with practical tools and insights that you can apply in your daily life. Whether you are seeking support for a specific issue or looking to enhance your overall well-being, I am here to guide you on your journey.

If you are experiencing relationship difficulties, I am experienced in working with couples who are going through relational distress - perhaps where there are issues with communication, acceptance of difference, problem solving or simply spending enough quality time with one another. I take an unbiased stance in the sessions, allowing your dynamics to unfold as I observe, and help you identify your mutual trap.
