About me
Please note: I am currently offering a reduced fee of £50 for university students. I also offer a reduced fee of £55 for social workers and teachers looking to access short-term (6-12 week) intervention focused on work-related stress. Please contact me for further details.
Work with me is guided by you - I’m keen to have initial conversations with potential clients to understand where you are in life, what you’re looking to achieve or explore, and what your hopes are for working with a therapist. I work with adults, teenagers, and children, both 1:1 and in group settings. I often work with clients who have faced complex life events and trauma, who are looking to make sense of their experiences in a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. I have strong clinical experiences working with clients who have faced complex trauma, loss, and relationship difficulties, both as adults and young people.
Training, qualifications & experience
I often work with Adults and Young People who have experienced challenging or traumatic relationships, either with friends, family, or partners. This has included understanding relational patterns, experiences of attachment, as well as navigating the loss of relationships.
I also often work with Adults and Young People who are Neurodiverse or are querying Neurodiversity, who have also often experienced relational trauma. I am a highly specialist practitioner who has also often worked alongside people who have experienced being Fostered or Adopted, as well as parental neglect and abandonment.
After qualifying as a HCPC registered Art Psychotherapist in 2018, I initially supported young people through work in SEMH School settings and a large Children’s Trust. I eventually made the decision to move into full-time self-employment, expanding my practice reach to also support adults and groups.
I’m also currently a second-year Doctoral Candidate, studying at the University of Derby. My clinical interests are focused on developing better communication and a “shared language” that recognises how words sometimes aren’t enough to convey the challenging feelings and emotions we may be experiencing.
I have lived experience of chronic health illness, and have a clinical interest in supporting clients through post-diagnostic grief.

school Registered / Accredited
Being registered/accredited with a professional body means an individual must have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by their member organisation.
The HCPC are an independent, UK-wide health regulator. They set standards of professional training, performance and conduct for 16 professions.
They keep a register of health professionals who meet their standards, and they take action if registered health professionals fall below those standards. They were created by a piece of legislation called the Health Professions Order 2001.
Registration means that a health professional meets national standards for their professional training, performance and conduct.
