My approach to psychotherapy is firstly based on building a relationship in which your experiences can be heard and understood. This will help you obtain more clarity around your life narrative and become more aware of the various parts in your internal system. I aim to be fully present and to facilitate a deeper connection between you and aspects of yourself that are needing attention, so that healing and integration can take place.
I am an integrative psychotherapist and my stance is non-pathologising: I believe you have adapted to life situations the best way you could in order to keep developing, and that you have internal resources, which you can get to know and expand, making way for the emergence of vitality, spontaneity and deeper connections in your relationships.
My psychotherapeutic roots are in Transactional Analysis, having done my four year training at Connexus Intitute in Brighton, UK. I abide by the ethic codes of the governing bodies I adhere to. I am committed to continuously honing my professional skills, and I draw from various therapeutic modalities, especially Internal Family Systems therapy (IFS).

Further information
Life transitions such as a new job or relationship, a sense of confusion or deepening awareness about your identity, divorce, moving, and the death of a loved one are some of the situations that can prompt intense or unfamiliar feelings to emerge.
Perhaps you have been feeling increasingly irritable, sad, anxious or burnt out. When prolonged, these states can deplete your vital energy.
I will be very interested to hear anything about you, your present and past experiences – whenever it feels right for you to share. I will respect your own pace. My aim is to help you feel safe and emotionally held so that you can look at aspects of your life you may wish to explore, accept or change. Your narrative might show mistaken, limiting beliefs you may be carrying about yourself and others, and which you may want to update.
Your wounded parts are welcome to come forward and heal, leading to integration and a stronger sense of who you are. Your personal needs, maybe neglected in the past, will hopefully become clearer to you, as you expand your ability to meet them. Life can become more spontaneous, healthier and fulfilling.
As a first step, I encourage you to get in touch and to arrange a twenty-minute introductory conversation over a call or video call. I offer this free of charge, so that you can tell me more about yourself and get a better idea about the way I work. If by the end of this first conversation we both feel that working together could be beneficial, we would then arrange your regular sessions.
