About me

I am an Integrative Counsellor with experience working with both adults and young people. My approach brings together a range of therapeutic models, allowing me to tailor our work to your individual needs rather than using a “one-size-fits-all” method.

I believe that every person’s story is unique, and my role is to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences at your own pace.

With adults, I support people experiencing challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, low self-esteem, grief, and stress. My integrative practice draws on humanistic, psychodynamic, and cognitive-behavioural approaches, helping you to understand past experiences while developing practical tools to manage present difficulties.

When working with children and young people, I create a warm and supportive environment where they can express themselves through play, creativity, or talking - whichever feels most comfortable.

I help children explore their emotions, develop resilience, and find healthier ways to cope with challenges at home, school, or socially.

Central to my practice is the therapeutic relationship: building trust, respect, and understanding. I believe real change happens when you feel heard, valued, and empowered. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself or your child, I will meet you where you are and walk alongside you on your journey towards growth, healing, and wellbeing.

Other evenings may be available upon request.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
