About me
It’s not easy being a person. Life can be challenging, hard, complex, traumatic and stressful.
Perhaps you are trying to understand yourself, your patterns of behaviours or process your past pain and live more of the life you choose for yourself moving forward. You might be experiencing some changes in life or simply want to talk to someone unconnected to your life, with the reassurance of confidentiality.
Just the thought of talking to a counsellor can be highly anxiety provoking; I genuinely understand those feelings. There can be a lot of shame and guilt around the thoughts and feelings we have but also around seeking outside support. I offer a respectful, safe, and calm space for you to explore whatever you choose, at your own pace. Ultimately you are in control of what you choose to share with me and talk about.
As a counsellor, my practice is respectful and without judgement. I am dedicated to providing a warm, compassionate and empathic therapeutic relationship; one where you feel understood. I believe in valuing your internal world and mental health. Previous clients have told me I'm easy to get on with, kind and supportive.
We are all uniquely different as are our experiences in life. As your counsellor I will respectfully tailor the sessions to meet your unique needs. It's not my role to tell you what to do; instead, we can work together to explore, understand or perhaps process your experiences, thoughts, emotions or behaviours.
I offer in-person, online via Teams or telephone counselling sessions, available for one off, short-term or long-term counselling.
Please get in touch by email via the contact form above or by telephone on 07778 648882 - please check your spam / junk folder following your enquiry as my reply may go there. Thank you!
Together we can explore what led you to now and what you hope life to look like moving forward. I look forward to speaking with you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred).
Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision.
Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training.
All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
