About me

Since I began my counselling journey I have helped many people deal with the difficulties life throws at us. No one is immune from problems, from the past or in the present. I offer a non-judgemental, confidential and safe space for you to explore and work through your issues. I work safely and ethically and always have your best interests at heart. I believe we all have the answers inside us and with a little help, a good therapist can help us find the solutions that are best for us. I work face to face in a comfortable and confidential room and provide therapy for individuals and couples. I offer the option for therapy to take place in the beautiful Sunnyhurst Woods as I believe that being in nature can often help us to connect with our feelings and see things more clearly.

I offer a 20 minute free  telephone session before you commit to therapy. Alternitively I offer a 30 minute face to face session for £20.00. This will enable us to establish a connection and decide if we can form a good working relationship.

Member organisations

British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy

BACP is one of the UK’s largest professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy. Therapists registered with the Association fall into a number of different membership categories such as Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP and Registered Member MBACP (Accred), each standing for different levels of training and experience. MBACP (Accred) and MBACP (Snr Accred) members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.

Registered members can be found on the BACP Register, which was the first register to achieve Accredited Voluntary Register status issued by the Professional Standards Authority. Individual Members will have completed an appropriate counselling and/or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but will not appear on the BACP Register until they've progressed to Registered Member MBACP status.

All members are bound by a Code of Ethics & Practice and a Complaints Procedure. Accredited by the Professional Standards Authority.
