About me

I am an experienced integrative psychotherapist who works with individuals. I offer a free 15-minute introductory call. My approach is nonjudgmental and supportive, and I use a variety of psychotherapeutic theories to inform my practice. I place great importance on working relationally with my clients and developing a connection so you are not alone in your struggles.

I work with clients on a wide range of issues, including anxiety and depression, bereavement and pregnancy loss,  trauma and women's health issues. I can offer emotional support to clients undergoing IVF treatment. I have considerable personal experience addressing the psychological and emotional implications of miscarriage and pregnancy loss, IVF, donor conception, infertility, postnatal anxiety and grief.

During our sessions, I will help you gently unpack your thoughts and feelings in a safe and confidential space. Taking the first step towards seeking therapy can sometimes be daunting. Together, we will work to manage life's challenges and strengthen your connection to your sense of self. I am passionate about empowering you with the tools and confidence to initiate meaningful changes for yourself.

I offer both short-term and ongoing therapy sessions, available in person and virtually. In-person sessions are held in clinical rooms in Chelsea and Queens Park in London.  I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere strictly to their ethical and professional standards. I am a registered member of the British Infertility Counselling Association. (BICA)

Training, qualifications & experience

I completed my training at The Minster Centre in London, a leading institute for Psychotherapy and Counselling, where I earned a BACP Accredited Level 7 Diploma.  Additionally, I hold a Foundation Certificate in Humanistic Counselling from the Metanoia Institute and a Certificate in Grief and Bereavement Counselling Skills from Glasgow Caledonian University.  As a registered member of the BACP, I adhere to their Ethical Framework. I am a member of BICA.

Member organisations

BACP
British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP)

BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
