About me

If you're going through a difficult time and are looking for a safe, confidential space to make sense of it, I am here to help. I'm Jess, an accredited CBT therapist and EMDR practitioner. There are two areas that I am particularly passionate about offering support in. The first is trauma-focused therapy, supporting those who are looking to heal from any past difficult experiences that are still impacting on them now. The second is perinatal mental health, supporting those who are experiencing unwanted intrusive thoughts, OCD, anxiety, self-criticism, or the overwhelm that can come with pregnancy and new parenthood. Whatever has brought you here, I will ensure that our work is tailored to your individual needs.

Together, we will work at a pace that feels right for you, in a warm and supportive space, with no assumptions or judgement about what you're going through. My aim is to help you feel like yourself again, and to help you live the life you truly want to lead.

I understand that taking the first step towards therapy can feel daunting, and I want you to know that it's okay to have questions or feel unsure. Whatever has brought you here, you don't have to figure it out alone, and I warmly welcome you to get in touch, even just to find out a little more about how I work. I offer a free 15-minute introductory call, and I am here when you are ready.

Training, qualifications & experience

With over 10 years' experience of practising as a psychological therapist in the NHS, and training and experience in CBT, EMDR and Compassion Focused Therapy, I offer online sessions designed around you and what you need, and will draw on whichever approaches feel like the right fit for you.
