Supervision details
I completed formal IAPT supervision training with the University of Birmingham in 2019, and since then have had the pleasure of supervising trainee CBT therapists, both in NHS services and with the University of Hull and Staffordshire University respectively, as well as experienced CBT therapists and newly qualified therapists working towards their BABCP accreditation.
I am currently offering CBT supervision on an individual basis, via video call. I have a particular interest in trauma focused CBT and perinatal mental health, and have completed additional training in these areas. I have experience of working within a secondary care perinatal mental health service, and also of working with a wide range of common mental health disorders within NHS Talking Therapies.
I have always enjoyed offering clinical supervision and offer a flexible approach to suit your needs and experience level, and hope to offer a supportive and non-judgemental space for reflection and growth.
The BABCP is the lead organisation for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in the UK. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the practice, theory or development of CBT. BABCP also provides accreditation for CBT therapists. BABCP accredited members adhere to the Standards of Conduct, Performance and Ethics in the Practice of Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies, and are willing to be scrutinised in this adherence as required.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
