About me
If your mind runs fast, tangles itself in different threads, and you’re a deep thinker, it might feel like your brain doesn't have a quiet mode. You might spend a lot of energy trying to make sense to other people, or worrying that you’re somehow broken because you feel everything at full volume. I offer a space where you can slow down and be yourself without the mask, welcoming the parts of you that feel messy, contradictory, or hard to explain.
I take an integrative approach to counselling, which means I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all model and I draw on different ideas and ways of working depending on what feels most helpful. This might look like a direct, reflective conversation or using creative materials when words feel hard to come by. Together, we can start to unpick the patterns you don’t quite understand yet and help you find a clearer sense of yourself.
I have experience supporting people with a range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, and grief, as well as the impacts of abuse. Many of the people I work with have spent years minimising their own needs or battling self-criticism. I have a particular soft spot for neurodivergent brains, whether you have a diagnosis or it's something you’d like to explore. I am committed to an inclusive practice and welcome those navigating life outside of societal norms and expectations, including questions of identity, sexuality, and gender. I understand what it’s like when life stops following the planned route, leaving you navigating without a map, and what it takes to start creating your own.
I’m a calm, direct presence in the room, bringing curiosity and a touch of humour to our sessions. I work relationally, which means I see us as two individuals working things out together, but you are always the expert on your own life and experiences. My aim is for therapy with me to be something you look forward to; a space where difficult things are explored with care, but that also feels warm and unfiltered. If you think we might be a good fit or have any questions about the process, you can email me to arrange an introductory meeting.

I also bring over 20 years of experience as a designer, primarily in the advertising industry. This has given me firsthand insight into the pressures of creative industries, including demanding deadlines, long hours, and high-intensity work cultures.
As a qualified Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS), I work in accordance with the NCPS Code of Ethics, which emphasises integrity, respect, inclusivity, and keeping your needs at the heart of the work.
