About me
My name is Jenny, and I offer a kind, compassionate, and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly about what’s going on for you. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, low mood, self-esteem, life transitions, or just feel like something isn’t quite right, I’m here to walk alongside you.
For Children:
Using the PACE (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity and Empathy) therapeutic model I support children to express themselves and make sense of feelings and experiences. Through play, art and other creative approaches I help children explore and understand their emotions, develop healthy coping strategies and build confidence in their ability to navigate life's challenges.
I am experienced in working with children and young people struggling with a wide variety of issues including bereavement, loss, parental separation, domestic abuse, low self-esteem, anxiety, friendship and social difficulties. I understand that children do not always have the words to explain how they feel, and I use age appropriate, creative approaches to help them communicate and make sense of their experiences.
For Adults:
Together, we’ll explore what’s happening in your life at a pace that feels safe and manageable. I work in a flexible, person-centred way, drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to support your unique needs, with empathy and understanding at the heart of our work together. You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply in need of a space to breathe, reflect, and be heard. Whatever brings you here, I want you to know that you’re not alone and you’ve taken a brave first step.
Sometimes we put therapy off, thinking we should be able to manage on our own, or we simply don’t prioritise our own wellbeing. But gaining insight into where certain behaviours or patterns come from can be transformative helping us understand ourselves better, shift unhelpful habits, and strengthen our relationships with ourselves and those around us. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for a safe space to talk, I’m here to walk alongside you towards greater clarity, confidence and calm.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
