About me
Hello, I am an in-person and online Counsellor specialising in Women's mental wellbeing, especially during key transitional life phases.
Counselling offers a calm, confidential space where you can bring the anxiety, emotional, physical and identity-level shifts that often arise during key moments in a Woman’s life whether you’re navigating the Menopause transition, adjusting to pregnancy or life after birth, finding your footing again following cancer treatment or dealing with changes to your Pelvic Health or Birth Trauma.
At times like these, talking to someone outside your immediate friends or family circle can be of immense value. Having a compassionate, objective listener will help you feel truly heard and understood and will support you to make sense of what’s changing in your mind and body. Counselling will also help you to recognise current or historical patterns that may be adding to your perception of stress, self-doubt or low self-regard. Together, we can gently explore what you’re experiencing without judgement, pressure or expectation. This process can bring clarity, reduce emotional overwhelm, and support a more empowered, stable sense of self as you move through your transition or recovery.
Everyone’s journey is different. Some women prefer a defined number of sessions; others value a more flexible, open-ended approach. I am trained to accommodate both and in our first meeting, we’ll explore what’s bringing you to counselling whether it's hormonal shifts, the challenges of motherhood, identity changes, birth trauma, grief, relationship strain, or the emotional aftermath of cancer and discuss the level of support you feel you need.
Ultimately, the therapeutic space is YOUR SPACE. You choose where to begin, how deeply you want to explore, and when the work feels complete for you.

Member organisations
BACP is one of the UK’s leading professional bodies for counselling and psychotherapy with around 60,000 members. The Association has several different categories of membership, including Student Member, Individual Member, Registered Member MBACP, Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Accred) and Senior Registered Accredited Member MBACP (Snr Acccred). Registered and accredited members are listed on the BACP Register, which shows that they have demonstrated BACP’s recommended standards for training, proficiency and ethical practice. The BACP Register was the first register of psychological therapists to be accredited by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA). Accredited and senior accredited membership are voluntary categories for members who choose to undertake a rigorous application and assessment process to demonstrate additional standards around practice, training and supervision. Individual members will have completed an appropriate counselling or psychotherapy course and started to practise, but they won’t appear on the BACP Register until they've demonstrated that they meet the standards for registration. Student members are still in the process of completing their training. All members are bound by the BACP Ethical Framework and a Professional Conduct Procedure.
Accredited register membership
The Accredited Register Scheme was set up in 2013 by the Department of Health (DoH) as a way to recognise organisations that hold voluntary registers which meet certain standards. These standards are set by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA).
This therapist has indicated that they belong to an Accredited Register.
